Command & Conquer Mod Resource List
- As part of a project I'm doing with Nielsen Online (previously Nielsen BuzzMetrics), I've created a collection of online chatter surrounding Command & Conquer. I haven't signed the NDA yet, but what follows is publicly available anyway.Open Source Gaming
- I'm not sure exactly where this part goes: it's really part mod, part community gaming (if you allow 'collaborative construction of technological space' as a sec reading of say Big Games and Urban Terror 4.0). Nonetheless, forwards I gather the linkies.Big Games
- This section summarizes some of the online sites and information I collected whilst working on my paper 'City, Games & Media' in May, 2007. In no particular order:Mods
- As one of my dissertation chapters I intend to map out a 'modding' community. Playing a game is but one way to experience it; the surrounding meta-activities are just as socially and culturally relevant.Bibliography
- This is an ever-expanding collection of summaries, excerpts, and quotes of some of the books that have thusfar been part of my overal project. For better or worse, I'll start by putting up my reading list for my comps.IP Project
- I'm working on a project that looks at the gaming properties of (large) media companies. On this page I'll list some of the press releases and other online sources to this end. If you want to read the whole thing though you'll have to subscribe to DFC Intelligence.Game sites
- This is a list of sites that talk either exclusively or intelligently about video games. If my morning coffee could take three hours, I'd read them every day.
