Amsterhamburg

I’m perched in front of gate 75, enjoying an Internet connection for the first time not in one, but two ways. The first is through my trusty iPhone buddy. The second is through Continental’s President’s Club. Whatever that is. Anyway, I’m not at the airport because I enjoy crowds and cavity searches, but because I’m headed Amsterdam and Hamburg.

Although I was just there, I’m paying a blitz visit to Voorschoten, Tilburg and Amsterdam, all in one breath. On Friday I will meet my friend’s newborn, and after a weekend of premeditated inebriation, a six-hour train ride will carry me to Hamburg. There I will spend three days at the Casual Games Connect. I’m mostly interested in finding out what’s going on in Europe in terms of casual games. I already have a range of companies lined up for meetings and I look forward to some of the panel discussions. I’ll try to send a few regular updates as the conference progresses. Should be fun. 

But first now my sandwich.
